Individual psychotherapy

It is a method of treating mental disorders through an interactive and confidential relationship between a therapist and their patient to explore the difficulties affecting the client's well-being. It addresses disorders related to our emotions, as well as the nature of our relationship with ourselves and others.

Individual psychotherapy is also a process of personal transformation aimed at becoming one's true self and making significant changes in various spheres of life. This process helps to free oneself from psychological suffering and gain greater inner freedom in both private and professional life through essentially psychological processes.

The therapeutic process can help you achieve the following goals:

  • Relieve and assist in managing symptoms:

    • Overcome depression and alleviate worries

    • Eliminate fears and reduce anxiety

    • Eliminate or better control phobias

    • Regulate addictive behaviors

  • Change maladaptive behaviors and stop repeating situations that no longer suit you

  • Better understand your own emotions and learn to manage them

  • Improve your ability to remain calm and in control

  • Develop your self-confidence and inner resources

  • Identify and express your real needs, and find concrete resources and means to achieve them

  • Develop strategies to better manage stress, post-traumatic stress symptoms, and your psychological and physical well-being

  • Improve communication with others and enhance your relationships (conjugal, family, professional, friendly)

  • Be better understood and heard

  • Work through a grieving process (loss of a loved one, divorce, job loss)

  • Better manage your life while being in tune with yourself

  • Give more meaning to your life...

Psychotherapy allows the person to refocus, identify and express their real needs, access their resources, feel better, acquire powerful and effective tools for daily life, and embark on a journey toward greater self-awareness.
